Packages From Home Super Bowl Soldier to Make Announcement
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) February 2, 2008 -- Packages From Home (PFH), nationally headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, announces a news conference with Arizona's Super Bowl soldier and hero, Airman First Class, Chad McDaniel.
A1C McDaniel arrived from Tikrit, Iraq on Monday, January 28, 2008 to the fanfare of nearly 200 people waiting for him at Sky Harbor Airport. He will be attending the Super Bowl as result of winning a lottery drawing held for 185,000 active military sponsored by Packages From Home. A1C McDaniel will be taking his little brother, who he has not seen in over a year, to the game with him.
A1C McDaniel will be making a special announcement at a news conference to be held on Saturday, February 2, 2008. The news conference will be at the Packages From Home headquarters located at 1201 South 7th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85007 (on the property of the Phoenix Memorial Hospital/S.E. corner of the parking lot). Check in is at 10:00 am.
The announcement is regarding the dedication of the Packages From Home Rest and Recreation Center at Camp Spiecher, Tikrit, Iraq for battle fatigued soldiers. A1C McDaniel will also answer questions regarding his Super Bowl experience. He will participate in the packing of items to be sent to his unit back in Iraq from Packages From Home.
A1C McDaniel has been quoted as saying, "I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be reunited with my family for the first time in a year with the Super Bowl being the icing on the cake. Now, I have an opportunity to help my fellow soldiers back in Iraq." One-on-one interviews can be arranged by calling 623-776-6593.
